Job Description: This Hotel is only 4 Blocks from the White House. We are seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to be responsible for the short and long term planning of the Sales and Catering Departments. The DOSM will assist the General Manager in preparation of the marketing, advertising, sales plans and annual budgets. The DOSM will be responsible for managing within the approved plans and budgets. Responsibilities also include the daily training and directing of the entire sales staff. This position requires advance knowledge of the principles and practices within the Sales/Marketing profession. Previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing is required. This Position will oversee a staff of 7 individuals. Experience in 3 Star or above Full Service Hotels with 200 rooms + is a requirement.
