Job Description: THIS IS A CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH !!  Do you want to be in sunny San Diego? If so, we have a Selling Director of Sales & Marketing position that I'm sure will please you. This San Diego property is seeking an experienced and goal-oriented Director of Sales & Marketing to manage our Sales and Catering departments.

The Director of Sales is responsible for selling, directing, coordinating, training and supervising the Sales Managers and Catering Managers in all sales-related activities including direct sales efforts, follow-up and proper sales administration.  He/she is also responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that Room revenues and Catering revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize revenue and profits, and to improve the hotel's performance in the mrketplace.  

The Successful candidate will be a focused and enthusiastic self starter with a track record of success in Hotel sales at a property of similiar quality; be a highly motivated, organized and poised individual with excellent people skills and networking capabilities. We would like this candidate to have California as well as Southwest market experience.
